SPEEDBOX®

Items that are in high demand need to be stocked and dispensed quickly and reliably. The SPEEDBOX® lives up to its name in its reputation of fast dispensing.

The SPEEDBOX® has a dedicated picking head that will dispense up to 900 packs per hour and no amount of inputting of packs will affect this. The SPEEDBOX® has been tested and monitored and is capable of dispensing 80% of pharmacy requests.

With a stand-alone SPEEDBOX®, items are manually loaded.  Integrate  into a MEDIMAT® / MULTI-MEDIMAT®, and the SPEEDBOX® will be loaded automatically.

Should the product lines change and the size of the channels require reconfiguring, this is done automatically. The system will determine new channels for new packs, or in the event of a contract change, new channels for items which have different pack dimensions to a previous contract. The system will, at the click of a button, evaluate items in the SPEEDBOX® to ensure that they are top moving lines.

If an item held within the main robot (MEDIMAT® / MULTI-MEDIMAT®) becomes a fast moving line, then the MEDIMAT®  / MULTI-MEDIMAT® will allocate a channel to this and then promptly load the item.
