MACH4 is continually improving and developing its systems and intends to continue to do so as the needs of Pharmacies evolve. With the imminent changeover to data matrix codes in Europe, MACH4 has already implemented systems with integrated datalogic camera scanners  – this is a phenomenol improvement for all users of pharmacy automation.  Now all packs with 2D barcodes are entered into our robots with an automatic entry of expiry and batch numbers.

Regular Product Development meetings and User Groups enable MACH4 to work with customers on the developments they would like to see. 

Some of our most recent developments are as follows:

The HSD® - MACH4 is currently launching its fully automated compact secure storage cabinet for Care Homes, Hospital Wards and A&E units.  The HSD® will be able to be interfaced with our existing pharmacy robots remotely for complete stock control and restocking purposes.

The UNIDOSE® - MACH4’s independent unit dose dispensing system. Storage capacity (depending on module) of up to 500 lines.  Tablets are picked and dispensed in labelled sachets.  MACH4FLASH guarantees control of all items dispensed by photographic recognition.  The UNIDOSE® is ideal for prison pharmacies or mental health units.  Investing in a UNIDOSE® significantly reduces  the time of preparation, the huge financial waste of returned drugs and management of these returns.  An immediate return on investment is guaranteed.  

The MEDIMAT® + UNIDOSE® Combination system - The MEDIMAT® works in conjunction with the UNIDOSE® to hold backup stock for the UNIDOSE® and to deliver pre-packed and labelled prescriptions.  Multiple prescriptions for care homes, wards, home patients etc can be picked, packed and labelled in less than an hour.  This is a revolutionary way of managing complete pharmacy automation.
